Kalepolepo, Kihei

Kalepolepo is a series of publicly owned parcels located along the south shore of Maui, Hawaii in the city of Kihei, on the makai side of South Kihei Rd., just South of the Maui Lu.   The wetlands, sand dunes, and fishpond at Kalepolepo are one of the gems of the South Maui Coastal Heritage Corridor.   Along with an active fishpond and a rich cultural history, the area hosts many native plants and animals, and is used by native plant enthusiasts, bird watchers, whale watchers, beach-walkers, and general beach-goers.   Click on links below to learn more about Kalepolepo.
